LSP Paranormal Investigation 101: What to Expect?

LSP will try to recreate all claims of paranormal activity to find logical and human explanations, also known as "debunking". We guarantee that any and all evidence found in an investigation, is authentic, and was not altered in any way. LSP also guarantee complete confidentiality to all of our clients. We will not share any of your information without your written consent. We also understand how terrifying a paranormal experience can be. We have all had them on some level, which is why we founded LSP. Research into the field has changed us from finding ghosts scary to finding them fascinating. We understand that this change is not an easy one to make, so we have dedicated ourselves to helping others by investigating, capturing paranormal activity, and taking steps to help rid a ghost from a residence. We also want to help others understand what they are experiencing. Upon accepting a case, it is our mission to help our clients through their experiences. You don't have to handle it alone, and we will do our best to assist.

During the investigation, we are looking to capture anything out of the ordinary that we cannot define by any normal means. We use professional equipment, including, but not limited to Electromagnetic Field (EMF) detectors, which measure the electromagnetic energy in the air. This goes along with the theory that ghosts are energy, so any spikes in this reading that are not given off by anything natural could be a clue to something paranormal, EVP, or electronic voice phenomenon, recorders which pick up disembodied sounds, or sounds that the human ear cannot hear, or did not hear at the particular time of the recording, Infrared Video cameras, Digital Cameras, and everyday things like flashlights, notebooks etc.

After our investigation, our team will review all of our evidence to see if we found anything paranormal. We may also do some brief research on the history of your home/business to see if anything that happened in the past could be affecting what you are experiencing now. If it is concluded that you have paranormal activity in your home, we will then advise the you as to what steps may be taken to rid your home of the activity.  In any case, our phones stay open to clients 24/7 to help answer questions and address any concerns he/she may have.

Step 1: Contact Lake Shore Paranormal, we will contact you within 5 hours of receiving your e-mail.

Step 2: The initial visit. We will set up an appointment to meet you during daylight hours to discuss your needs. An investigation date will be set during this time.
During the initial visit we discuss your needs and the problems you and others are having. During this time we take notes and tour your home/business and find "hot spots" we need to investigate.

Step 3: Prepare for Investigation. Now it's time for you to help us by removing any pets, family members, workers and other people from the location at least an hour before we arrive to investigate. In order to do a successful investigation, all distractions must be removed. the owner/head of household may stay in residence out of investigating range and must remain quiet at all times. 

Step 4: The Investigation Night. The LSP team members will arrive an hour before investigation time to allow time for set up walk through's and preparation time needed in order to conduct a successful investigation. We start our investigation at 10 pm-3am depending on the case. Some paperwork will be read and signed before we begin. We will respect your home and business and will not be held responsible for any damages or accidents while investigating. We are professional and caring. If we cannot help you, we will find someone who can and we guarantee that.

Step 5: Evidence Review. Our team will review all the evidence from the investigation and report to you via phone or in person to share what we may have found and ways to help depending on the case. We will set up a Evidence Review after the investigation. You will receive all evidence on a DVD for your own personal use. 

Step 6: Follow-up Visit/Call After we investigate and share any evidence we will provide follow-up phone calls to ensure all is well.  We are available for advice and help anytime.
